Your Baby Can Read! 5 DVD Series Set
Your Baby Can Learn To Read with the Your Baby Can Read Five DVD
Video Set!
Welcome
to a whole new way of learning! The most natural time to learn language is early
in life. The Your Baby Can Read DVD series uses a fun, interactive approach to
help babies, toddlers, and preschoolers learn language during the natural window
of opportunity for learning language -- ages 3 months to 5 years.
Based on the research of Robert C.Titzer, Ph.D., Your Baby Can Read! 5 DVD
series set is the first DVD video series in the world designed to help babies,
toddlers, and preschoolers learn to read!
Gaining the attention of national TV news and other media, as well as thousands
of babies across America, Dr. Titzer's multi-sensory reading approach teaches
little ones to recognize words using several senses at the same time.
Why is learning to read so important? A 1998 national panel of
reading specialists and early childhood educators made two major recommendations
to improve the quality of reading in the U.S.A.:
1) Teach reading earlier.
2) Don't focus on either a whole language or phonics approach, but instead do a
combination of the two.
Your Baby Can Read! 5 DVD series set has been doing this since 1997.
How does the Your Baby Can Read! 5 DVD video series set help your baby or young
child learn to read?
Your child will see the words, hear the words, see images representing the
meaning of the words, and often perform some physical activity related to the
words.
According to theories on brain development, this multi-sensory reading approach
may help new synapses form among the visual, auditory, and somatosensory areas
of the brain. These more elaborate connections may provide a better foundation
for future learning as well as reach children with visual, auditory, and
physical learning styles.
Your Baby Can Read! 5 DVD Video Series Set are DIFFERENT from Other Baby Videos!

Most baby videos and DVDs are developed to entertain babies with stimulating
images and sounds. Your Baby Can Read! DVDs are interactive and multi-sensory
and actually teach important language skills during the child's natural window
of opportunity for learning language.
Your Baby Can Read! 5 DVD series set was developed by an infant researcher to
specifically teach language skills in a fun, interactive way using young
children, animals, songs, and poems. Most other baby videos and DVDs were
designed to occupy and entertain the baby, not to help them learn anything of
lasting value. Many parents have told us that their children learned more
watching the Your Baby Can Read! DVD one time than months of watching other baby
videos. The best part is that the Your Baby Can Read videos is that they are
also fun and entertaining, as well as valuable.
When it comes to Learning, Earlier is Better
New scientific evidence suggests that learning language is
actually easier
during infancy than at any other time. Any aspect of language learned early in
life is learned naturally and easily. Babies naturally learn to understand and
say words by hearing language. Babies and toddlers exposed to second languages
or sign language naturally learn these languages at higher levels than older
children. Babies and toddlers who are allowed to see the language are also able
to learn to understand the written form of language naturally and easily. Any
part of language that we wait until later in life to learn becomes increasingly
difficult to learn at high levels. Your Baby Can Read! 5 DVD series set was
created by an infant researcher who successfully used this technique with his
own children.
Longitudinal studies show that children who are taught to read before age five
read better than same-IQ, same socio-economic status (SES) children who are
taught at age five or six. Children who were taught to read at age 7 or 8 were
even farther behind (even when controlling for IQ and SES). After eight years,
the children who were taught to read at younger ages were still ahead of
same-IQ, same-SES children who were taught later.
Its beneficial for your child to read early.

About Robert C. Titzer, the Developer of Your Baby Can Read DVD Series
Robert C. Titzer, Ph.D., is an educator and researcher in the
field of infant learning and father of two daughters. A decade ago, Titzer
taught in the public schools in Guam and in California after earning his
teaching credentials from San Diego State University. Titzer completed a Master
of Science degree from Penn State University and a Ph.D. in Human Performance
from Indiana University where he worked in developmental psychology laboratories
conducting theoretically important experiments related to infant learning. While
a professor at Southeastern Louisiana University, Dr. Titzer's fascinating
research on multi-sensory reading during the infant and toddler years captivated
the attention of parents, other researchers, and the media.
Dr. Titzer has become a recognizable expert in the area of infant learning and
his work has been published in scientific journals -- including the prestigious
Psychological Review. He has spoken with thousands of parents around the country
and demonstrated fun learning activities that they can do with infants and
toddlers to stimulate brain development. Dr. Titzer has appeared on hundreds of
TV programs and networks including Good Morning America, MSNBC, CNN, Headline
News, CBS This Morning, ABC World News Now, Knowledge TV, Real TV, Parenting
Principles (on PBS), and The Learning Channel.
"My daughters learned to read as infants by watching our homemade reading
videos. They were often at the babysitter's house or sitting in a highchair
eating -- so it didn't take away from any of their other activities. I was so
amazed by how easily they learned to read words that I helped develop this
videotape so other babies could benefit. Now, other families can share this joy
and amazement. Astonishingly, after viewing this video about two times a day for
several months, many infants will learn to recognize these words when they see
them in books or other locations." -- Robert C. Titzer, Ph.D.
